What are shifts?
Two fixed times a day when people sit down to focus together for 45 minutes, then take a 10-minute break. The café stays open the rest of the time too.
Is the free Café really free forever?
Yes. Unlimited time, no signup, no advertising trackers. Only the Library and Campfire ask for a Café Pass — and you can try those free for 7 days, no card.
How does it work without an account?
Access lives on your device. Restore a purchase on another device with the Gumroad license key from your receipt. A free trial or feedback pass can be restored with your email in its original browser. No password or profile.
What happens after the Founding 50 fills up?
Annual access moves to $39.99. The first 50 supporters receive one year of access for the $19.99 founding price.
Can I use it as a floating study timer while I work in another app?
Yes. Hit “keep on top” under the timer and it pops into a small always-on-top window you can start, pause and reset without going back to the tab. Minimise the browser entirely and it keeps counting. Works in every room including the free Café, on Chrome, Edge and Firefox.
