Refund and Cancellation Policy

If Café Pass isn’t right for you, you get your money back. That’s the whole policy; the rest of this page explains how it works.

Full refund within 14 days

• Email hello@rainnightcafe.com within 14 days of paying for a Café Pass and we refund the full amount. No reason needed, no forms.
• Include the email you paid with and, if you have it, the payment ID or license key from your receipt, so we can find the payment quickly.
• We start the refund within 2 working days of your email. It goes back to the card or account you paid with. Banks usually show it within 5 to 10 working days; for cards issued outside India it can take a little longer.
• When a refund is issued, the Café Pass it paid for ends and the Library and Campfire close again. The free café stays open to you as always.
• Gifts follow the same 14 days from the day the gift was bought. A refunded gift code stops working, and a pass already opened from it ends. The person who paid asks for the refund.

After 14 days

Passes are not normally refunded after 14 days. If something went wrong on our side, such as the rooms being unavailable for a long stretch or a duplicate charge, write to us anyway and we’ll make it right.

Duplicate or mistaken payments

If you were charged twice for the same pass, or paid by mistake, tell us at any time and we refund the extra payment in full.

Cancellation

• A Café Pass paid through our Razorpay checkout is a single payment for 30 days, a year, or a founding lifetime. It does not renew automatically, so there is nothing to cancel.
• A pass bought through Gumroad that renews automatically can be cancelled at any time from your Gumroad library, or by emailing us and we’ll cancel it for you. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.

Currency and amounts

Prices are shown in US dollars (or Indian rupees where offered). We refund the amount we received. If your bank converted the currency, the amount that reaches your account can differ slightly because of exchange rates or bank fees we don’t control.
